Wildcats down Ware 49-30

Richmond Hill High School beat Ware County 49-30 on Tuesday night in a Region 3-AAAAA contest. The Wildcats got 11 points from Wallace Smith and 10 from Jeremiah Hill. Richmond Hill led 17-13 at halftime.

Tough night for local teams

Friday night was tough on local high school basketball teams. All four local squads lost. In Pembroke, Vidalia's boys blew open a close game to knock off Bryan County High School 78-46. Bryan County sophomore Jeremy McClendon led all scorers with 20 points. In the girls' contest, Vidalia won 62-44. Bryan County senior Diamond Mcgirt had 24 points.
