Richmond Hill waltzed into Olvey Field and handed the Bradwell Tigers a 28-7 Region 3-AAAAA loss Friday night. The Wildcats were led offensively by Ronnie Harris. The senior had amassed more than 140 rushing yards just in the first half, unofficially. The Richmond Hill boys converted Tiger turnovers into points.
Bryan County High School picked up its first win of the season Thursday, downing Southeast Bulloch 10-7.
Richmond Hill's softball team was in Springfield Tuesday afternoon where the Lady Rebels took a 4-1 win in a Region 3-AAAAA game. Official stats have yet to be posted but according to box scores available one maxpreps.com the Wildcats had a 1-0 lead in the first inning. The Effingham girls quickly turned the game to their advantage adding two runs in the second inning and driving in two more unanswered runs in the third for the victory.
