Wildcats boys' soccer team downs Toombs 5-3
Richmond Hill's boys' soccer team defeated Toombs County in an away game Thursday night. The Wildcats won 5-3. Wildcat Justin Carrillo scored three goals and had two assists. Josh Miller and Anthony Norce scored one goal each. Drew Gregerson and Justin Rowland had two and one assists respectively.
10 Richmond Hill High School players earn All-Region 2A-AAAA honors
Lorenza Ross, Vernon Jackson, D'Angelo Johnson and Brandon Jordan made the All-Region 2A-AAAA basketball team while James Franklin was Honorable Mention. On the girls side, Aliyah Johnson, Tay Reynolds and Sydney Millek were named to All-Region 2A-AAAA and Sarah Goolsby and Keeara Jackson were Honorable Mention picks. The teams are selected by region coaches.
Richmond Hill sweeps Liberty in tennis
The Richmond Hill High School boys tennis team improved to 2-5 with a 4-1 win Tuesday over Liberty County. yesterday 4-1. Ted Noonburg, Thomas Capocasale and Chase Gill won singles matches and Josh Donlevy and Robert Compton won in doubles competition. The girls team upped its record to 4-2 and has wins over ver Savannah Arts, Country Day, Effingham County and Liberty County. The team is led by Breanna Cota 5-1, Emily Li 3-3 and the doubles team of Lauren Bickes and Bailee Croy.

Wayne County upended Richmond Hill High School 4-3 Tuesday night in a boys' Region 2-AAAA soccer match played in Richmond Hill.

Lady Redskins fall to Turner County
Bryan County High School fell 59-46 to Turner County in the second round of the girls' state Class A playoffs tonight in Pembroke. The Lady Redskins (27-4) were led by Tiffany Howard with 21 points. Redskins pick up first baseball win
Bryan County High School earned its first win of the early season Thursday with a 3-2 victory over visiting Long County. Skeebo Carter went the distance on the mound for the Redskins and allowed only 5 hits in the winning effort. Bryan County had seven hits on the day with Alex Covington (2 for 2, two 2Bs, 2 runs) and Shane Dillon (2 for 2, RBI) leading the way at the plate.
Wildcats blank Redskins in baseball opener
Virginia signee Kevin Matthews threw a no-hitter and Richmond Hill blanked cross-country rival Bryan County 12-0 in five innings on Tuesday in Pembroke in the 2011 season opener for both teams.
Lady Redskins beat Calvary Day for 3-A crown
It wasn't even close. Bryan County (25-3) beat Calvary Baptist 70-57 on Friday night at Savannah Country Day to win the Region 3-A title. The Lady Redskins' Olivia Melvin led all scorers with 32 points. Saatashala Beasley added 15 points and Diamond McGirt had 11 for BCHS, which clinched a No. 1 seed in the Class A playoffs. The No. 4-ranked Lady Redskins wono the region's regular season title as well.
