Local teams fall in tough games

It was a hard night for Bryan County and Richmond Hill fans. The Redskins trailed 27-0 until the fourth quarter where they scored on passes of 29 yards, 1 yard and 26 yards. But Calvary Day held the advantage winning 27-20.

XC Wildcats fare well at Jaguar Invitational

On a beautiful, sunny Saturday in Evans, at the Augusta State University Jaguar Invitational, the Richmond Hill High School girls took home the second-place plaque, with three girls placing in the top 15, two in the top 10. It was one of the most challenging, hilly courses the girls have faced this season.

Vasher scores for GSU in women's soccer win

STATESBORO, Ga. - Georgia Southern Women's Soccer pounded two late goals across the line for a 2-0 victory over Western Carolina on Friday, October 7th, at Eagle Field. The win gives the Eagles their first league win of the season and improves Georgia Southern to 3-7-2 overall. Western Carolina falls to 8-4-1 overall and 3-2-0 in league play.

Lady Wildcats open region volleyball tourney Saturday
