Richmond Hill High School improved to 3-0 in Region 2A-AAAA with an exciting, hard fought 7-6 win over Brunswick. The Wildcats finally found their hitting stroke by collecting 16 hits and scored in the bottom of the sixth for the winning margin. Peyton Cater drove in the winning run and also saved the game on the mound for winner Ryan Esenwein.

Senior Nathan Ward threw a complete game shutout, striking out 12, to lead Richmond Hill High School to a 1-0 win over Region 2A-AAAA foe Wayne County on Tuesday night at Wildcats Field. Aliyah Johnson was named the top player in Region 2-AAAA by region coaches after the Lady Wildcats (24-3) won the 2-AAAA title and set a school record for consecutive games won. Johnson, who has signed with Wofford, averaged 19 points a game this season. On the boy's team, Spencer Buck, James Williams, Kody Morales and Alex Cruz earned All Region 2A-AAAA .
Bainbridge upset Richmond Hill High School 62-53 on Friday night in the first round of the girls' state Class AAAA basketball playoffs on Friday night in Richmond Hill. The loss ends the Lady Wildcats' season. Richmond Hill finished 25-3.
