Southern auctioning jerseys to benefit ROTC program

The dark blue custom digital camouflage Nike jerseys worn by the Georgia Southern Football team in its victory on Military Appreciation Day are being auctioned off. Thirty of the camo jerseys will be available in the initial auction ending Sunday with a starting bid of $200 for each jersey. Lady Wildcats win The Richmond Hill High School girls' basketball team knocked off Claxton 52-46 in overtime on Saturday in the South Effingham Thanksgiving Tournament. Keeara Jackson led the Lady Wildcats (2-0) with a game-high 17 points. Kadijah Scriven finished with 14 for Richmond Hill. Redskins fall 21-0 in finale

The Bryan County High football Redskins closed out their season Friday in Alma as they fell to Bacon County 21-0 in a Region 2-AA matchup. The Redskins finished the season on a high note by winning two of their last three games and ended with a 3-7, 3-6 record.

Bacon County downs Redskins in finale

Bryan County High traveled to Bacon County Friday night for their final football game of the season and suffered a 21-0 loss. Bacon County held a 7-0 halftime lead as the Redskins' defense played tough and it was still 7-0 heading into the fourth quarter where Bacon County added two touchdowns for the 21-0 win.
