Richmond Hill running company Georgia Game Changers is partnering with Jalapenos Mexican Restaurant this Monday, May 5for their Cinco de Mayo celebration. Game Changers will host a Free Running Clinic and a 2 mile neighborhood walk/run that will start and end at Jalapenos' plaza. The Run Clinic will start at 6 p.m.
The South Bryan County Rec Department is hosting an All-Star baseball event at 6 p.m. Friday at Richmond Hill Park off Timber Trail Road.

This past Thursday, the Richmond Hill High School Cross Country team hosted their 5th annual Fishy Invitational. With pristine running conditions from mid-afternoon until the late evening, 511 runners from 29 different schools throughout the coastal empire attended the meet.
Bryan County High School toppled McIntosh County Academy 51-26 during their Homecoming game Friday night. The school announced Homecoming Queen Paige Shuman and King Scotty Flint at the game.
The Richmond Hill Lady Wildcats took back-to-back wins over Woodland Wednesday in the first round of the state playoffs. The Lady Cats eked out a 14-13 win in dramatic fashion during game one.

Statesboro High School held off Richmond Hill 14-13 on Thursday night at Womack Field in Statesboro in a Region 3-AAAAA football game.
The Richmond Hill Wildcats hosted the Effingham County Rebels Friday and got sucker punched 24-20 en route to their third consecutive loss. The Wildcats nearly pulled out a win on a 92-yard drive late in the 4th quarter but came up three yards short of the winning touchdown as time expired on the clock.
Effingham County knocked off Richmond Hill 24-20.
It took nine innings to decide the winner and unfortunately for the Lady Redskins the Vidalia Softball team claimed the 9-6 win. Bryan County High School's late inning game was then followed by an 8-0 shutout loss to Vidalia during the first round of the Region 2-AA playoffs held Thursday.
The Richmond Hill High School varsity competition cheerleaders took first place at the Classic Cotton Cheer Competition on Sept. 27 in Jeff Davis County.
