The Bryan County High School track and field team got off to a fast start on March 3 in its first track meet of the season. The Redskins won the overall competition against visiting teams from Calvary, Claxton, South Effingham, Portal and Metter.

Wildcats boys' soccer team downs Toombs 5-3

Richmond Hill's boys' soccer team defeated Toombs County in an away game Thursday night. The Wildcats won 5-3. Wildcat Justin Carrillo scored three goals and had two assists. Josh Miller and Anthony Norce scored one goal each. Drew Gregerson and Justin Rowland had two and one assists respectively.

Richmond Hill sweeps Liberty in tennis

The Richmond Hill High School boys tennis team improved to 2-5 with a 4-1 win Tuesday over Liberty County. yesterday 4-1. Ted Noonburg, Thomas Capocasale and Chase Gill won singles matches and Josh Donlevy and Robert Compton won in doubles competition.

The girls team upped its record to 4-2 and has wins over ver Savannah Arts, Country Day, Effingham County and Liberty County. The team is led by Breanna Cota 5-1, Emily Li 3-3 and the doubles team of Lauren Bickes and Bailee Croy.

Run camp for teens next week

Georgia Game Changers and the Coastal YMCA are hosting a three-day running camp for teens beginning Monday at the Richmond Hill YMCA. The camp is for kids ages 13-18 and will be from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday. For more information call the YMCA at 756-5856.
