Aug. 3: Dog Wash benefit – Bring your dirty doggies out for a bath to benefit the Humane Society of Greater Savannah. Baths cost $5. Dog washers are volunteers from Avail Tattoo, and anyone bringing their dog for a bath can receive tattoo discounts as well. The Richmond Hill Garden Club hosted its annual Pumpkin Patch at J.F. Gregory Park Saturday, garnering what may have been the best turnout yet. Attendees bought pumpkins, mums, crafts and homemade baked goods while children played fall-themed games and were offered lollipops from the Pumpkin Fairy. Tiffany Stroud took these photos.

Friday evening's showing will be a PG-rated movie, and Saturday night's movie will be rated G. The movies will begin at dusk. Guests are asked to bring lawn chairs.
