See, be seen: St. Anne's spaghetti dinner
St. Anne's Catholic Church hosted a spaghetti dinner fundraiser on Friday evening for Richmond Hill resident Dylan Moore, 9, who is battling leukemia. Approximately 500 tickets and to-go meals were pre-ordered, with more purchased at the door. All proceeds will help Dylan's family with medical expenses.

See and be seen: Rotary's 'Grease' prom
On Saturday, the Rotary Club of Richmond Hill hosted a "Grease" Valentine Prom fundraiser. Attendees enjoyed '50s themed dinner, music and dancing, as well as live and silent auctions to benefit charitable organizations.
Richmond Hill resident a Cold War hero
In 1962, the Cold War reached new and dangerous heights with the Cuban Missile Crisis. Following the failed U.S. attempt to curtail Cuba's regime at the Bay of Pigs, the Soviet Union teamed up with the Caribbean nation to build up an arsenal of nuclear missiles on the island. A day at the museum
More than 40 people visited the Richmond Hill Museum for free on Sunday, enjoying guided tours through exhibits and a lecture by local historian Buddy Sullivan.
Rotary Club gives $4,000 to charities
The Rotary Club of Richmond Hill has made donations to help the community. "We made a commitment to help our community in these difficult economic times and we are continuing to do so," said Aimee Harris, president of the Richmond Hill Rotary Club and attorney at Harvey & Hendrix. The clubs next fundraising effort will be the "Grease" prom, based on the famous musical, set for 7 p.m. Saturday at the Richmond Hill City Center. ...
