Businesses get toys, books to Gold Star kids

See and Be Seen: Christmas tree drop off

Local community members took down their holiday decorations and dropped off their live Christmas trees at J.F. Gregory Park to be recycled. The trees were put into a wood chipper to create mulch. Tiffany Stroud caught some of the action on her camera.

RH preschool owner honored by state

Richmond Hill resident Audrey Singleton, owner of the Richmond Hill Montessori Preschool, recently was recognized by the Georgia Child Care Association. For her 20 years of service to childhood education, fellow child-care facility owners who felt Singleton had made a commitment to the industry throughout the year nominated her for the honor.
