DARIEN - The Darien-McIntosh County Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Independence Day celebration Saturday, July 2, in historic downtown Darien. The Second Chance Band will entertain the crowd at 7 p.m., and attendees are encouraged to bring food, chairs and blankets. At dark, the fireworks display over the Darien River will begin.
