U.S., England have changing tastes in beer

However, with the approach of the Savannah Craft Brew Fest, which drew more than 4,000 attendees last year and takes place during the Labor Day weekend, I am reminded of the differences between traditional English beer and this patriotic American tipple.

Local group travels to Hawaii

Ten local folks smile for the camera during a cruise to Hawaii in late spring. They flew to San Diego, Calif., from Savannah and took the HAL Oosterdam, cruising to the Hawaiian Islands. They toured four of the islands, seeing such sites as Honolulu, Waikiki Beach, waterfalls and botanical gardens, and they attended a luau.
