Jill Beason was among those who attended the Richmond Hill Reindeer Games Saturday in the pavilion at J.F. Gregory Park. Beason lives in Savannah but works in Richmond Hill at David Donaldson CPA. She came to the park with her family despite the rainy weather.

Patricia Barbee will salute other women like her on Saturday. "I'm going to have my cup of tea and hoist it high," said the Gold Star Wife and North Bryan resident who, like thousands of other women across the country, lost her husband during wartime. Community unites for young cancer patient

Dylan Moore did not have any health problems until mid-October. That's when the 9-year-old Richmond Hill Elementary School student started having fevers and pain in his joints, according to his mother, Nancy Moore. Dylan went to the doctor and had his blood drawn. "And sure enough," Moore said, "they diagnosed him leukemia the next day."
