The interesting journey to citizenship

Two weeks ago, one day after the 225th anniversary of the signing of the U.S. Constitution and exactly 219 years after George Washington laid the cornerstone of the U.S. Capitol Building in Washington D.C., I went to Atlanta and wept. But don't worry these were not tears of sadness but rather tears of joy: I raised my right hand and swore an oath of allegiance to the United States of America. Garden club picks yard of month

The Richmond Hill Garden Club has selected the home of Richard Ralls at 120 Harvey Drive as the yard of the month for September. Ralls' yard has hidden gingers with white-and-lavender blooms below the leaves. It also features cast iron plants, elephant ears, nandina, ivy and salvia, all situated under sprawling oaks.
