Senior fishing rodeo draws record crowd

Although no record-breakers were caught out of the pond, a record-breaking crowd attended the annual Senior Citizens Fishing Rodeo May 20 at the Colen Floyd pond house. Seniors from both North and South Bryan County braved the heat to enjoy a day of fishing, singing, eating and socializing.

Unfortunately, Scabby lost the contest's top spot this week to a deaf pointer/dalmatian mixed-breed dog from Oklahoma named Patience.
