Rec league signups

RHS soccer signups: Richmond Hill Soccer Club registration is now open. Register online through Feb. 16 at www.RHRASoccer.com. There will be teams for ages 4-14. Cost is $25 for U6-U8 and $45 for U10-U14. Computers are available at the public library. Email questions to RHRASoccer@comcast.net.

Bryan County High School basketball star Liz Cross has a lot to be proud of. Her strong community and school involvement aside, Cross is an undeniable powerhouse on the basketball court. That's why she's the first Bryan County Athlete of the Month for 2007.

RHHS girls upend Saints

After getting beat in their first meeting at St. Vincents in a fairly close but not so inspiring performance, head coach Wade Wright and his Richmond Hill team had to be thinking of the rematch with the Saints that would come at the Wildcat gym this past Friday. They had to be thinking that they are the better team, thinking that this season's future rests on that game.

After big win, Wildcats drop three

After their first win of the season, against Bryan County, Richmond Hill had hopes of beginning on a road to more victories. Head coach Tom Morris had spoke of turning a corner, but that road and corner has proved a bit treacherous on this last leg of the season as the Wildcats fell to highly touted Liberty County 56-26 on Tuesday before being devastated at home Friday, in a game they had thought was win-able, at the hands of Benedictine 55-29.
