Run for fun The Richmond Hill Recreation Association will be hosting a "5k run for fun", on July 7 to kick off the Ol' Time Family Festival and BBQ at JF Gregory Park. Hendrix Park recently wrapped up their baseball and softball seasons which featured a record-breaking turnout as children from all over North Bryan County came out in droves to participate in America's favorite pastime.

The Richmond Hill Recreation Association just completed regular season play for baseball and softball. The seasons ended with a round-robin tournament for all the teams in order to crown champions for each of its eight divisions.
The 14-and-Under boys divisions at Hendrix Park capped off an exciting season last week which ended with two Hendrix Park home teams, the Crushers and the Diamond Backs, colliding for the division CAA championship. The Crushers, coached by John Curl, took the title in a nail-biting 6-5 game.
Richmond Hill Wildcat baseball player Matt Schlag is on a roll. After being voted as the team's MVP earlier this month, he was recently selected as a member of the Georgia Dugout Club 2007 All State Southeast All-Stars Team.
