Redskins, Wildcats earn wins

Bryan County High School pulled out a 9-8 win over host Bacon County on Tuesday night. Brandon Albright picked up the win for the Redskins. Nathan Leggett recorded the save. Dalton Raulerson hit a 3-run homer in top of the second to give the Redskins the lead and they continued to push runs across the plate each inning. In Hinesville, strong pitching and 13 hits combined for a 13-2 win for Richmond Hill over Bradwell Institute. RHHS football coach resigns

Josh Eads, Richmond Hill High School's football coach, has resigned, the school announced Saturday morning. A search for a new coach will begin immediately, according to RHHS athletic director Mickey Bayens, who thanked Eads for his hard work, dedication and commitment to the school.
