The other standards

Students participate in a wide variety of activities throughout the school year most of which are related to the academic subjects including math, language arts, science and social studies. Some may not realize that special school-wide activities which may be viewed as "fun" activities for students are meeting academic guidelines and state standards as well.

RHHS 10th graders were granted a once in a lifetime experience when Holocaust survivors Chaim Melamed and Vera Hoffman visited with a small group of students last Tuesday. Chaim and Vera spoke with students on everything from the time before the war, to the concentration camps, to their eventual liberation. Volunteers at RHPS get high marks

The parent and community members of the Richmond Hill Primary School PTSO volunteer group are the envy of several of Georgia's top performing elementary school administrators. Visiting RHPS for the purpose of completing a five year Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) evaluation, the team of two Georgia principals, two teachers, and an Assistant Superintendent were quick to compliment the group.

The Bryan County School District offers a web-based home-to-school collaboration tool entitled ParentCONNECTxp. This program allows parents/guardians a way to keep track of your child's academic progress-online.
