Good things are happening at Richmond Hill Middle School
So many wonderful things are happening in the afterschool activities at Richmond Hill Middle School. We are extremely proud of our Wildcats who have devoted the extra time and effort required to achieve these accomplishments. We would also like to express our appreciation to the faculty members and parents who support our students in these endeavors. Go Wildcats!!
Technology at BCES
Technology is used in many ways at Bryan County Elementary School. Assessment is used to drive instruction at our school and technology is integral to the assessment process. EIP is making a difference
The Early Intervention Program (EIP) is designed to serve students who are at risk of not reaching or maintaining academic grade level. The EIP program provides additional instructional resources to help students obtain the necessary academic skills to reach grade level performance in the shortest time possible.
Hall wins Rotary award
Richmond Hill High School senior Lauren Hall (pictured with Rotary President Robbie King) is the junior Rotarian of the month for March. She currently has a 3.96 GPA and ranks sixth in her class. She plans to go to Georgia College and State in the fall, majoring in broadcasting. School system preparing for 2009 fiscal year
The Bryan County School System has completed almost eight months of the current fiscal year. Unlike the city and county governments, the school system operates on a state fiscal year basis that runs July 1 through June 30. During the first seven months of the fiscal year, the school system has expended 58 percent of the budgeted expenditures and collected about 66 percent of the budgeted revenues.

Excelling at special education
The State of Georgia is monitored by the federal government on indicators of student performance through No Child Left Behind. Special Education is also monitored by annually reporting various data to the Department of Education in Atlanta, which compiles and forwards it to Washington, D.C. Post schools to lose five days to furloughs
ALEXANDRIA, Va., May 22, 2013 - Students, teachers and parents of the Defense Department's schools can be confident that despite the department's upcoming civilian furloughs, the school year will start on time, the Department of Defense Education Activity's director said today.
Carver chorus students perform
