As one of Armstrong's eight original buildings on the university's Southside campus, Burnett Hall serves as a strategic venue for the Alumni Center. Iva Salomounova from the Czech Republic made a presentation to the Rotary Club of Richmond Hill at a recent weekly meeting. Salomounova reflected on her experiences in America as she prepared to return to Europe after spending a year at Atlantic Armstrong State University and staying with her host family from the Rotary Club. Salomounova has benefitted from the Georgia Rotary Student Program scholarship, to which the Rotary Club of Richmond Hill contributes around $5,000 every year.
