Let the Lord lead you to thankful life

Psalm 100 is the song of a thankful heart, a command to worship and serve this God, who made us by entering into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise. We must praise the Lord in the place recognized by the world as His court and also within the gates of our secret lives. If there is no praise for our God, then surely our song will not be accepted.

In five days, many of us will be gathered around a table with family to enjoy Thanksgiving dinner. For my family, that will mean lots of loud talking and laughter and the consumption of more food than we ever should eat.
