Right on target

Bryan County 4-H'ers competed at the Southeast District/Area BB tournament and were right on target, finishing in 3rd place overall. Members of this team were Bobby Jacobs, Denver Snyder, Marcus Mitchell, Rachael Scott, Brent Nardella, Austin Schneider and Cody Bryson.

Bolton gets national recognition

The 2007 Touchstone Energy Cooperatives Distinguished Service Award, the brand's highest honor, was presented in March to Richmond Hill resident Mark Bolton, vice president of marketing and member services of Coastal Electric Cooperative. Coastal Electric is a Touchstone Energy Cooperative.

Tea on Sunday at Magnolia Manor

The United Methodist Women of Richmond Hill will have a "tea" at Magnolia Manor on Sunday, April 22 at 3 p.m. Featured speaker will be Diann Beasley, who is the Savannah District President of the UMW. This special day is the Call to Prayer and Self-Denial Sunday. It will be a salute to new members and to deaconesses of the United Church. Offering for the day will go to programs of concern for deaconesses.

I-95 exit in Richmond Hill to close for repairs

The Georgia Department of Transportation will temporarily close Interstate I-95 Southbound Exit Ramp 87 (US 17, Richmond Hill). The ramp will be closed for extensive maintenance repairs. The closure is scheduled to begin on Sunday, April 15th, beginning at 1:00 a.m. and extend until Thursday, April 19th at 6 a.m.
