Alcohol ordinance to change in RH

Father Mows Best is Sunday

The radio station KIX96 will be hosting a 'Father Mows Best' promotion this Sunday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the St. Jude Dream Home house. All dads are welcome to come out and compete in a lawn mowing obstacle course. All Seasons Outdoor Power Equipment of Richmond Hill is providing a Cub Cadet Zero-Turn tractor to ride through the course.

Barfield out after spider bite

Jack Barfield IV has been out of the Claxton Detention Center since May 16 after he was bitten by a spider, according to a court order obtained from the Superior Court of Bryan County. He is due to return June 20.
