This calling is why he decided to run for the office of Probate Judge of Bryan County. He has held that office for seven years. He is a life-long resident of Bryan County, with roots going back for many generations. In fact, his grandfather (Henry H. Davis) served the position of Justice of the Peace, which once was the name of the present office of Probate Judge.
