The United States Army turned 232 years old, Thursday. The event was commemorated with ceremonies at home and abroad by soldiers of the 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield.

Father Mows Best is Sunday

The radio station KIX96 will be hosting a 'Father Mows Best' promotion this Sunday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the St. Jude Dream Home house. Barfield out after spider bite

Jack Barfield IV has been out of the Claxton Detention Center since May 16 after he was bitten by a spider, according to a court order obtained from the Superior Court of Bryan County. He is due to return June 20.
