RHHS bats heat up in win

After four losses in a row and the most important part of their schedule upon them, head coach Mitchell Curry focused his team's recent practice on what he felt they needed the most improvement on - hitting. The Wildcats took batting practice before the start of the game this past Tuesday on the field rather than in the batting cages, as is the normal practice, and it worked.

For adults and children alike, the health benefits of consuming enough dietary fiber are well-known. Fiber aids in digestion and can decrease the risk of obesity, heart disease, diabetes, and some cancers. According to a new study, most children aren't eating enough whole grain foods.

In March of 2000, the Georgia General Assembly passed House Bill 1308, known as the "Equity in Sports Act." This bill enacted a state law modeled in part after the federal law entitled "Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972".

Redskins run out of time

The Redskins came close to beating Jenkins County Friday night with a final score of 77-75. There was just not enough time left on the clock. Winded by this exciting game, the Bryan County boys struggled at home against ECI with a loss of 51-35.

As the American Red Cross Bloodmobile pulled in for the second round of blood donations this school year, many students were eager to donate their pint, while others were weak in the stomach.
