Bryan among targeted in forestry initiative

Tillman, Sr., State Conservationist for the USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) in Georgia today announced that 19 more south Georgia counties are in the high priority category for funding for the Southeast Forestry Initiative (SFI). Midway native passes bar

Alicia LaVon Mullice, a 2010 graduate of Atlanta's John Marshall Law School, completed the requirements for her degree in December 2009. She passed the February 2010 Georgia Bar examination and recently was sworn in to practice law in the state of Georgia by Liberty County Superior Court Chief Judge David Cavender. Jekyll Island revitalization moves forward

JEKYLL ISLAND - The Jekyll Island Authority announced recently that three companies have been selected to join the Jekyll Island beach village project. They will build two new hotels and new retail space for the island. Following a request for proposal process, the board of directors approved the recommendations made by the Jekyll Island Authority evaluation committee, and project development agreements will be finalized with each company.
