Pembroke men sentenced for drug trafficking

STATESBORO -- Kevin Lamont Gourdine, 28, and Keith Denard Fields, 26, both of Pembroke, and Elijah Nahum Simmons, 32, Statesboro were sentenced earlier this week by U.S. District Judge B. Midway bank robbed

The Heritage Bank in Midway was robbed during the lunch hour Friday. Midway Police Chief Kelli Morningstar only could confirm the bank was robbed at 12:39 p.m. before deferring all questions to the Liberty County Sheriff's Office.
