11th person charged in FEAR militia plot

Bryan Co. fugitive apprehended in Pembroke

Law enforcement officials have apprehended the Pembroke man who escaped from jail last week. According to FBI Special Agent Stephen Emmett, Cecil "Red" Dewitt Nelson, 33, was taken into custody Monday night at his mother's house in Pembroke. Midway bank robbed

The Heritage Bank in Midway was robbed during the lunch hour Friday. Midway Police Chief Kelli Morningstar only could confirm the bank was robbed at 12:39 p.m. before deferring all questions to the Liberty County Sheriff's Office.
