Raccoon theft is a new for city police

Pembroke police have an unusual theft case on their hands. On the morning of Jan. 8, Elijah Lewis, a former Pembroke City Council member, reported someone had broken into his work shed in his backyard on Williams Road and took seven frozen raccoons sometime during the night.
