RHHS student hit by car

A Richmond Hill teenager was hit by a car Wednesday while riding his bicycle to school. According to Richmond Hill Police Chief Billy Reynolds, a 17-year-old male was riding his bicycle to Richmond Hill High School when he was hit by a car turning right onto Harris Trail Road. Funeral set for wreck victim

A Midway man died Saturday in a motorcycle wreck near the Bryan/Chatham county line. George Wesley Thomas, 38, of Carlyene Drive on the Isle of Wight, died from injuries sustained after he lost control of his bike around 2 p.m. on Chief of Love Road, according to a release from the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police. Midway bank robbed

The Heritage Bank in Midway was robbed during the lunch hour Friday. Midway Police Chief Kelli Morningstar only could confirm the bank was robbed at 12:39 p.m. before deferring all questions to the Liberty County Sheriff's Office.
