Bryan County High School assured itself of its first winning season in football since 1991 with Friday's 13-12 win over Claxton at the Pecan Grove

My dear wife, who hasn't been to a high school football game in years, was at first appalled when I told her what some young Richmond Hill High School fans chanted loudly during Friday's game against South Effingham.
Meet Richmond Hill High School quarterback Dominique Allen, who is drawing attention from schools like Georgia Tech, Mississippi State and Georgia Southern, just to name a few.
Some numbers for you Wildcat fans to digest as you count down to Friday night's kickoff against visiting South Effingham, courtesy Mr. Rob Ferendo -- Richmond Hill High School's stat guru.
In case you haven't noticed, both high school football teams in Bryan County are unbeaten. That's right. They're 3-0 each, or 6-0 as a pair.
The Georgia High School Association will go to six classifications beginning in the fall of 2012.

UPDATE: It's now 1:33 p.m. and I'm STILL working on the football previews. That makes it something like 29,000 hours straight, or maybe 28, I'm not sure. I do know I think my brain grew a mullet a little while back -I shared that on Facebook --and before restarting my computer for the umpteenth time since last night I've changed my desktop background to a photo of Steve Taneyhill taunting Clemson fans after the Gamecocks pulled an upset back whenever it was.
If my head suddenly pops like one of those nylon balloons -- do nylon balloons pop? I don't know, but who cares -- pay my noggin no mind.
