Richmond Hill schools win $10,000 in grants from Century Link

CenturyLink today announced the three Richmond Hill-area winners of the CenturyLink Clarke M. Williams Foundation's Teachers and Technology grant program. The program, which has been offered since 2008, awards grants to schools in CenturyLink's local service areas on behalf of teachers who have developed specific plans to innovatively implement technology in their classroom.

Wildcats get sendoff to second round

Richmond Hill gave the Richmond High School baseball team a bit of a sendoff Wednesday morning as the team left by charter bus for a second round Class AAAAA playoff game against Greenbrier. Supporters say the Wildcats (20-8) are in the second round for the first time in program history.

BCHS teacher resigns in wake of investigation

A Bryan County High School teacher allegedly involved in inappropriate behavior with a female student has resigned "effective immediately," said school superintendent Dr. Paul Brooksher in a press release issued Friday morning. The teacher's name has not been released.
