Tornado watch isued for area

Much of Southeast Georgia, including Bryan County, has been under a tornado watch. The National Weather Service issued the watch shortly after noon, upgrading its forecast that was for possible storms. The watch will run until 9 p.m. The watch means conditions are right to develop a tornado. It does not mean any have been spotted.
