Health officials urge parents to be proactive with immunizations for new school year

Students will be going back to school in less than two months and health department officials in Bryan, Camden, Chatham, Effingham, Glynn, Liberty, Long, and McIntosh counties are encouraging parents to be proactive about getting required immunizations for children. Tara Nielsen wins "BCES Biggest Loser Contest"!With the help of the Bryan County Health Department's recording the weekly weigh ins, Bryan County Emergency Services hosted an 8-week "Biggest Loser" contest for anyone wishing to participate. Although several people signed up, and some even lost more weight, only one person completed all the requirements for the 8-week program.
