Work starts on right turn lane at 144, 17 in Richmond Hill

Workers were seen busy at the intersection of highways 144 and 17 in Richmond Hill late Monday night, and a DOT spokesperson confirmed construction on a dedicated right turn only lane at the intersection is under way. Most of the work will be done at night. The project is expected to cost about $77,000 and take about 60 days to complete, if weather permits.

RH Garden Club's pumpkin patch a hit

The pavilion at JF Gregory Park was filled on Saturday morning with visitors to the Richmond Hill Garden Club's annual pumpkin patch.
