Richmond Hill's city council won't hold a special called meeting next week to discuss a contract on Project Honey, a Development Authority of Bryan County codename for an effort to bring more jobs and investment at Belfast Commerce Centre.
Members of Richmond Hill City Council tabled a developer's request Tuesday night to move ahead with plans for a new subdivision in Richmond Hill Plantation off Sterling Links Way, citing concerns over what sort of homes national builder D.R. Horton will construct in the development which is to be called The Links at Ways Station.
Following Wednesday night's bust of a meth lab in Pembroke, authorities have announced that Rodney Shuman, 44, is wanted in connection with trafficking methamphetamine and possessing a fire arm by a convicted felon. The Richmond Hill-Bryan County Chamber of Commerce's January Business After Hours event, hosted by RE/MAX Accent, featured an oyster roast and chili bar from 5:30-7 p.m. Thursday. The festivities, co-sponsored by South State Bank and held at the RE/MAX building on Richard Davis Drive in Richmond Hill, included door prizes, a raffle, refreshments and networking opportunities for attendees.
