Big second half dooms Wildcats

With a late first half turnover and touchdown under their belt Richmond Hill had to feel confident in the locker room facing only a touchdown deficit against the favored Liberty County Panthers. The flood of Panther turnovers the Wildcats received in the first half dried up in the second and Liberty County sprinted to a 42-7 Region 3-AAA South win at Olvey Field.

RHHS softball season ends

SAVANNAH – Richmond Hill softball ended their season this past week-end in the region 3-AAA tournament held at Paulson Complex. They were game one losers to Cross Creek 7- 0 and then were eliminated from post season play in game three against Harlem 11-5.

Turnovers, missed opportunities sink Wildcats

Richmond Hill sweeps Harlem

Richmond Hill welcomed the Lady Rebels of Hephzibah on Saturday with a welcome return of their bats as they swept their region 3-AAA rivals 10-0, and 6-2 in a doubleheader at Wildcat Field. Pitching has dominated as of late; it did again on Saturday, but it was her team's breaking out of a major slump that pleased head coach Jodi Reagan the most.

South Effingham cruises past mistake prone Lady Cats

With one of the top pitchers and best teams in the state throwing against them, head coach Jodi Reagan knew her team would need to be at their best in order to keep it close. Instead, she saw her young team make error after error that led to South Effingham Alison Kirkland's 7-1 win for the Lady Mustangs.
