The Richmond Hill Middle School Lady Cats softball squad upped their record to 2-0 Tuesday with a 16-3 win over perennial powerhouse Effingham County.
The fall sports season is gearing up to kick off on both ends of the county. Children of all ages are about to fill both recreation fields for football, cheerleading and soccer. In addition, Richmond Hill will have baseball, softball, soccer and tennis.

It has been a rough but amazing season for the Bryan County Redskins, finishing their schedule with 5 wins and 19 losses. Last Tuesday night, the Redskins found a victory against Pierce County 44-34, but lost an exciting game to Claxton 40-37 Friday night. Saturday night's game saw another loss 52-41 against Metter.

The Pierce County Lady Bears trampled the Lady 'Skins 43-36 on Tuesday night, while the Claxton Lady Tigers pounced on the BCHS girls 50-46 Friday. Saturday night, the last game of the regular season, the Lady Redskins came close, but couldn't pull out the win against Metter 45-43.
