Navy Seaman Thomas D. Tucker was recently promoted to his current rank upon graduation from recruit training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill.
Tucker received the early promotion for outstanding performance during all phases of training, He is the son of Jerry T. and Delores H. Tucker and brother of Hillary B. Tucker of Pembroke. He is a 2009 graduate of Bryan County High School.
