The Hinesville Military Affairs Committee is seeking participation in the Worth Fighting For Fourth of July celebration for 3rd Infantry Division soldiers and family members.
The celebration will be from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on July 2 on Fort Stewart.
For the past six years, HMAC has volunteered to feed the soldiers and their families. The food court will feed between 5,000–7,000 individuals. Anyone interested in setting up in the food court should be prepared to contribute in one or a combination of the following ways: provide a minimum of 250 meals, provide drinks and desserts, volunteer to work in the food court, and/or donate tables, tents or grills.
Fort Stewart also has many free family events, a golf tournament, carnival and concert that evening.
For more information or to get an application, visit www.cityofhinesville.org or call 408-8238 or 223-5553.
