Dr. Kevin and Mrs. Anne Koebley of Smithfield, N.C., announce the engagement and forthcoming wedding of their daughter Meredith Anne Koebley to Colin Llewellyn Snider of Kill Devil Hills, N.C., son of Judge Darrell and Mrs. Robin Snider of Richmond Hill.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Rev. Dr. and Mrs. Melvin Risinger of Parkersburg, W.Va., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Koebley of Smithfield, N.C.
Meredith graduated from Duke University Divinity School in Durham, N.C., in May 2010 with a Master of Divinity degree. Her undergraduate education was completed at Elon University in Elon, N.C. where she earned a B.A. in art and a B.S. in international studies in 2002.
The future groom is the grandson of June Llewellyn and the late Rev. Dr. Charles Llewellyn of Urbana, Ill., and Betty Snider and the late Darrell Snider of Tega Cay, S.C.
Colin graduated from Duke University Divinity School with a Master of Divinity in May 2009. He earned a B.S. in religion from Charleston Southern University in 2006. Colin is presently associate pastor at Kitty Hawk United Methodist Church in Kitty Hawk, N.C.
Ocracoke Island, N.C., will be the setting for the Aug. 21, 2010, wedding. The couple will be residing in Kitty Hawk, N.C.
