Richmond Hill saluted area fallen soldiers at a ceremony Friday at the veterans memorial in J.F. Gregory Park.

Among those who participated, Brig. Gen. Jeffrey Phillips, deputy commanding general-rear and senior commander of the 3rd Infantry Division at Fort Stewart and Richmond Hill Mayor Harold Fowler laid a wreath at the city’s observance Friday.

Pembroke honored Memorial Day on Saturday downtown.
