Gov. Sonny Perdue appointed Liberty Regional Medical Center CEO Scott Kroell to the State Board of Nursing Home Administrators this week.
“I was honored to be considered and humbled to be chosen,” Kroell said Friday. “I look forward to working with the current board of qualified and experienced members.”
LRMC in Hinesville operates the 108-bed Coastal Manor Long Term Care Skilled Nursing Facility in Ludowici.
Kroell, 60, of Midway, is a fellow at the American College of Healthcare Executives and is a member of the Liberty County Board of Health. He is also on the board of The Heritage Bank.
Kroell earned a bachelor’s degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a master’s degree from Georgia State University.  He and his wife, Diane, have two children.
