The third annual Larger Than Life Beauty Pageant, hosted by Affairs and Occasions, is set for 7 p.m. Saturday, April 24, in the Long County High School cafeteria.
The pageant, which is a fundraiser for cancer research, was created to demonstrate that beauty is not a size, but a way of presenting oneself. The pageant is a plus-size contest, open to women who are at least 18 years old and at least a size 14.

Admission to the pageant will be $3 and attendees will vote for the people’s choice winner. All proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society to support the Long County Relay for Life.
