Girl Scouts collect for Haiti relief

Richmond Hill Junior Girl Scout Troop 30270 members were at the Savannah-Hilton Head International airport on Friday to help pilot Rich Grayson load a plane with supplies bound for Haiti. The troop collected from generous donors more than $3,000 in personal care items which weighed approximately $475 pounds, to help Haitians still reeling from the Jan. 12 earthquake that an estimated 200,000 dead and more than 1 million people homeless.
