The event took place around 6 p.m. at the man’s residence on Hwy. 204 near the Zip N, according to authorities who did not release his name.
Firefighters pulled the man out and EMS administered aid.
The man was then airlifted by LifeStar helicopter to Memorial Health University Medical Center for treatment.
A member of the Sheriff’s Department said the man suffered multiple broken limbs and was “severely injured.” The deputy also said the man was using different types of hydraulic jacks to lift his vehicle. No other information was available.
