Rain is continuing to fall across Georgia, and a few counties remain under a flood warning.
The National Weather Service reports that up to a quarter inch is to fall on Liberty, Bryan and Long counties this morning. And the rain will continue into Friday, when skies will start to clear in the afternoon.
The National Weather Service says the warning is in effect for Carroll, Coweta and Heard counties for possible flooding from the Chattahoochee River.
The weather service also issued the warning for the Tallapoosa River affecting Haralson County, Big Creek affecting Forsyth and north Fulton counties and the Oconee River affecting Clarke, Greene and Oconee counties. About 2 inches of rain fell in the Atlanta area on Wednesday. Rainy weather is expected to continue through the weekend.
